Here is a list of some of my favorite links, enjoy browsing!
This is the Vela Microboard web site in Australia. Eli, who has Angelman Syndrome, is part of a ground breaking pilot program His mother, Jaquie advocates hard for her son. Throughout the years I have known her, Jaquie has provided me with so much advice and hope, after reading her son's page, you will have as much respect for her as I do.
Joshua is the son of Jackie Golden. She is the pioneer of Self Directed Support Corporations in the United States. If it hadn't been for her hard work and advocating for all of our children, this section probably wouldn't exist. She has made a world of difference in my life and others. She also taught me everything I know about support in my home. Joshua's story is worth every second you spend reading it.
Emilie and I have coordinated the Michigan Chapter of Angelman Syndrome for 5 years together, her blog is one I visit frequently.
Here is a page written by Emilie and myself. It's a little bit of everything about Angelman Syndrome, it covers speech, behavior mod, and other topics
Michigan Chapter of Angelman Syndrome
This link has nothing to do with Angelman Syndrome ( I do have other interests!). It takes a close look at negative messages in advertising, it can be controversial, but is worth taking a look at.
