Our next book is going to be
Angelman Syndrome
Inspirational Stories
This book is going to be compiled by stories from actual families. It is our hope that when this book is published it will bring awareness to Angelman Syndrome. There is no better way to let the world know about Angelman Syndrome than from people who live it everyday, and YOU can help inspire other families!
We are looking for families to submit their stories. Topics can cover
*What age did your child start walking, signing, or some other skill?
* Parents that have kids that have just been diagnosed are usually scared of the unknown. They have questions such as What will happen to my child when I am gone? How will they live? If you have an older child with Angelman Syndrome you can help other parents a great deal by telling your story. Where does your child live? How do they live? How are the supports structured? How are the supports funded?
* Diagnosis, how you felt when you got the diagnosis, what helped you accept the diagnosis?
* People with Angelman Syndrome have some very *fun* times. If you have an especially funny story please submit that.
We will be accepting stories until June 1st 2008
